I wonder, if everyone is working under a narrative speed playbook, might another successful approach be to not play that way? Curious what you think? Thanks!
A good vibe marketer knows when to wade in the waters. You can’t constantly be wading in otherwise it’s just crass. I personally think you can’t afford not to from a business perspective since the attention economy almost demands it of you to stay relevant. And it’s “free” impressions you’d be paying a lot of money for otherwise. Your blended CAC will show this and every bps matters especially in a competitive space.
When you say vibe marketer is it only for companies and startups? or for individuals? I am a developer although twitter has a tech community I noticed mostly posts with hot takes/ controversies/ shitposting get more attention and followers but posts with coding related or project showcase dont get much attention.
How important is vibe marketing for a developer? I dont want to create funky or shitposting content just because that works. How would you grow as a developer on building a personal brand on twitter / linkedin.
Vibe marketing is also as important for personal brand and same for startups and companies. The Soham Parekh scandal led to personal marketing, people pay attention to drama, people will pay for drama. We are currently in the Attention economy period if you don’t keep talking about yourself and creating either shitposting or dramas people do not simply care.
