It's simple. AI is always just the first draft. Having NanoBanana didn't replace designers who created posters and creative images. It made it easy to start at least.

If thinking, judgment, and experience are "the whole job," then why do we seem to care that much about AI?

I mean, these are the parts we don't outsource to agents anyway.
